The TillerBuddy™ Wireless Horn is a professional-grade signaling device. It emits a 125dB blast—this is roughly the volume of a jet take-off or a jackhammer. It is designed to be heard over a loud engine from the other end of a long tunnel.

If you are testing the unit, please follow these rules to avoid permanent hearing damage:

• STAND BACK: Never trigger the horn while holding it or standing right next to it. Always place the unit down and stand at least 3 to 5 meters away before pressing the button.

• FACE IT AWAY: Ensure the horn is facing away from you (and any pets or bystanders) before testing.

• MOUNT FIRST, TEST SECOND: The safest way to test the horn is to mount it in its final position at the bow and walk back to the tiller before triggering it.

• THE "RINGING" RISK: At close range, a single blast can cause immediate "tunnel ringing" or acoustic trauma. Please do not underestimate the power of this unit.
