The TillerBuddy Sentry is a high-security, weatherproof smart padlock engineered for marine environments. Utilizing encrypted Bluetooth technology, it offers superior security and easy management via your smartphone.
Smartphone App: Unlock with a single tap using the app.
PIN Code: Enter your custom 4–9 digit code on the touchscreen.
TillerBuddy Wearable: Tap your Wearable Fob to the keypad center.
NFC Backup Tags: Use the included "tap-and-go" tags for quick access.
Download the App: Search for TTLock on the App Store or Google Play.
Register: Create an account and ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
Pairing: Tap the "+" icon in the app. Touch the lock keypad to wake it. When the lock name appears, tap the "+" to finish pairing.
To Set a PIN: In the app, go to Passcodes > Generate Passcode > Custom. Enter your 4–9 digit PIN.
To Pair Wearables/Tags: Go to Cards > Add Card. When the lock beeps, hold your Fob/waerable face against the center of the keypad.

Timed Access for Guests: Use the "Timed" Passcode feature to create a code that only works for the duration of a customer's hire period. The code will automatically expire at check-out time.
Remote Code Generation: You can generate and text a secure entry code to a client from your office. They do not need to download the app to use a PIN code.
Staff E-Keys: Issue "E-Keys" to maintenance staff. This allows them to unlock the unit via their own phone app, while you keep a digital log of exactly when they accessed the boat.
Audit Trails: The "Records" tab provides a full, timestamped audit trail of every entry—essential for insurance and security monitoring of your fleet.
TillerBuddy Gateway (Optional): For real-time remote management from home, the Sentry Lock can be paired with a G2 Wi-Fi Gateway to allow for instant code deletion and remote unlocking from anywhere in the world.
Battery & Jump-Start
USB-C Jump: If the battery is depleted, plug a portable power bank into the USB-C port at the base.
Unlock: Use your PIN, Fob, or App as normal once the keypad lights up.
Recharge: Once open, charge the unit until the app shows 100%.
Marine Maintenance Tip: We recommend a drop of silicone-based lubricant on the shackle once a season to ensure smooth operation in saltwater environments.
